I had the pleasure of sitting at the Chef's Counter, which not only gave me a front-row view of the kitchen in action but also added a touch of excitement to the evening as I watched each dish come to life. I began with a French Martini, a perfectly balanced mix of vodka, Massenez Creme de Cassis, pineapple, and lime—smooth and refreshing. For the appetizer, I chose the Cocktail de Crevettes—plump, chilled jumbo shrimp, Old Bay-poached and served with house cocktail sauce, lemon, and a hint of espelette. I paired it with a glass of Moet Brut Imperial that elevated the flavors beautifully. I couldn’t resist sampling the Frenched Oysters, delicately dressed with creme fraiche, cucumber, champagne mignonette, espelette, and caviar. The flavors were bright and luxurious, each bite more indulgent than the last. Fresh, warm brioche bread arrived at the table—flaky and buttery perfection. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the main course arrived: Coquille (scallops). Perfectly prepared with lobster, asparagus, leeks, corn, and green garlic butter—every element was cooked to perfection, harmonizing beautifully. For dessert, I finished with the Cherry Thyme Crepe Cake—layers of honey crepe, white chocolate mascarpone, cherry jam, and brown butter thyme crumble. Paired with a glass of Fonseca 10 Year Tawny Port, it was the ideal ending to an exquisite meal. The service was impeccable (thank you Lara!) —attentive without being intrusive, and the staff's knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was impressive. “ Fantastic food and service. All of the items ordered were made very well, full of flavor, and good portion sizes. The desserts stood out, though. I would come back here specifically for that. Very nice selection of wines and small plates as well. Highly recommend if you have not been, this restaurant surpassed my expectations! ”

It was our first time here and not knowing what to expect, we came in for a last minute date night. We started with the steak tartare which was PERFECT, and I’m kinda picky when it comes to this dish. Then had the snails since it’s a French delicacy. I thought I’ll try a bite but ended up loving it and eating half (since we were sharing). Then a bread dish with peaches, also amazing. Then had the duck which was a special and it was the best duck I’ve ever had! All paired with The French cocktail and perfect date night vibes. Also I have to mention our server Hailey, she was the sweetest ever and her recommendations were on point! Will absolutely be dining here again soon and are still thinking about the great time we had. The new chef, Hunter is serving up some fire and you must go try asap! We’ll be back! ”

After booking our reservation, we were followed up prior to our booking date. The hostess date is promptly at our selected time. Our server ensured that we were completely satisfied with every course of our meal. Drinks remained topped off as frequently as they were emptied. Our meal was expertly prepared with fresh greens and savory vegetables and cooked to perfection meats. Complements to the kitchen for their outstanding skill. We were aided in celebrating this evening with house provided touches only Brasserie La Banque could offer. Delicious deserts and hand prepared cocktails to close out the evening. The desired gift request was to have a formal and outstanding fine dining experience. While not being expressively conveyed, the staff, chef, and pastry chef fulfilled that wish seamlessly. Our bartender David along with a few others tonight were attentive, informative, kind, and animated. We are new in town and he gave us recommendations for newbies. Just to add to that, the food was perfect. Our French martinis were absolutely stunning and delicious. We got the NY strip steak frites and it was cooked to perfection. Like no other steak I’ve had before- props to the chef. The sauce was buttery and rich. The fries were seasoned well. I wish I could give more stars. ”

It wasn’t my birthday, but they had 3 separate tables decorated with balloons/confetti/signs for people coming in for birthdays. My waitress (I of course blank on her name but had dark, curly hair with a bow) was so sweet and warm. A really lovely experience ”
